Integration with service desk and trouble ticketing tools for closed-loop incident management: eG Enterprise can be integrated with service desk and trouble ticketing tools (ServiceNow, HP ServiceDesk, BMC Remedy and RemedyForce, ManageEngine ServiceDesk, etc.) so when a new alert is detected by eG Enterprise, a new ticket/incident is opened in the service desk system. Likewise, when eG Enterprise detects that a problem has been resolved, the corresponding trouble ticket/incident is automatically closed in the service desk solution. The result is closed-loop incident management – you will never miss an alert, nor have to worry about incidents that are open even though the problem has been resolved.
Integration with other network and system management tools: If your IT operations team has been using another network or system management tool as their main management console, eG Enterprise can be seamlessly integrated with such a tool. Out of the box integration is possible with IBM Netcool, CA Unicenter, HP OpenView, SolarWinds and any other tool that is capable of receiving alert information through SNMP traps. For Microsoft users, eG Enterprise also provides a Universal Management Pack that integrates tightly with the System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) console.
