Environment
The company monitors thin-client access infrastructures based on Citrix XenApp and Microsoft Terminal servers using eG Enterprise. In such environments, users access the servers using thin clients, typically using SunRay technology. To be able to monitor the access infrastructure end-to-end, the company also monitors infrastructure services such as DNS, Network file systems, Print servers, Active Directory services, network switches and routers, and Microsoft SQL database servers. Many of these key services are deployed on a mix of virtualization platforms including VMware ESX and Citrix XenServer technologies.
