The ADFS Service Layer

The tests mapped to this layer alerts administrators to the unavailability or poor responsiveness of the AD FS server. Additionally, the layer also measures how well the server handles authentication requests. Moreover, using the tests, administrators can also rapidly capture authentication failures or access attempts that are dubious. In addition, administrators can also find out how long the local claims provider and external authentication provider are taking to execute the queries and authenticate the users.
