The ASP .Net CLR Layer

The tests associated with this layer (see Figure 1) monitor the following:

  • Managed locks and threads
  • Exceptions that occur in the CLR
  • Garbage collection activity
  • The locking activity
  • the security system activity
  • JIT compilation
