How does eG Enterprise Monitor Apache Impala?

eG Enterprise can monitor Apache Impala in an agent-based or an agentless manner. For agentless monitoring of Apache Impala, the eG agent should be deployed on a remote Windows host in the environment. For agent-based monitoring, make sure that the eG agent is deployed on the Apache Impala server being monitored. For monitoring Apache Impala server, the eG agent uses REST API. To enable the eG agent to use REST API, make sure that the requirements detailed in the Pre-requisites for Monitoring Apache Impala section are fulfilled, before you attempt to monitor the target Apache Impala server.
