Equipment Fan Module - Intersight Test
The Cisco equipment chassis being managed by Cisco Intersight contains multiple hot-swappable fan modules. These fan modules ensure that the internals of the chassis always receive adequate air flow and the temperature within the chassis is maintained at acceptable levels at all times. Snags in the functioning of the fan module can hence hamper air flow, which in turn may have disastrous effects on the health of the other chassis components.
By periodically monitoring Cisco Intersight to collect stats about the overall status and presence of fan modules, administrators will get clear insights into the operation of managed components and they can take remediation action if ther is anything abnormal.
Target of the test : Cisco Intersight
Agent deploying the test : A remote agent
Outputs of the test : One set of results for each fan module managed by Cisco Intersight

Detailed Diagnoses |
To make diagnosis more efficient and accurate, the eG Enterprise embeds an optional detailed diagnostic capability. With this capability, the eG agents can be configured to run detailed, more elaborate tests as and when specific problems are detected. To enable the detailed diagnosis capability of this test for a particular server, choose the On option. To disable the capability, click on the Off option. The option to selectively enable/disable the detailed diagnosis capability will be available only if the following conditions are fulfilled:
