Equipment IO Module - Intersight Test
Cisco Intersight manages the equipment chassis containing I/O Modules or Fabric Extenders that allow the blade servers in the chassis to communicate with Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnects. The chassis supports up to multiple I/O Modules, each with one or more I/O ports.
The IO modules make up the very important part of overall infrastructure managed by Cisco Intersight, and it is vital for IO modules to work properly for whole system to work efficiently.
This test monitors the Cisco Intersight to collect the metrics from each of the I/O Modules present in every chassis managed by the Cisco UCS manager, and in the process, promptly alerts administrators to abnormalities related to status and presence of IO modules.
Target of the test : Cisco Intersight
Agent deploying the test : A remote agent
Outputs of the test : One set of results for each IO module managed by Cisco Intersight

Detailed Diagnoses |
To make diagnosis more efficient and accurate, the eG Enterprise embeds an optional detailed diagnostic capability. With this capability, the eG agents can be configured to run detailed, more elaborate tests as and when specific problems are detected. To enable the detailed diagnosis capability of this test for a particular server, choose the On option. To disable the capability, click on the Off option. The option to selectively enable/disable the detailed diagnosis capability will be available only if the following conditions are fulfilled:
