Citrix PVS Network Test
Citrix Provisioning Server (PVS) connects to the Citrix Virtual Apps server through different networks such as UDP, TCP, etc and streams operating systems and applications as images from shared vDisks through the networks. Continuous image streaming relies on uninterrupted connection between the PVS server and the Virtual Apps server over the network. If the network connection between the target Virtual Apps server and the PVS server disconnect or reconnect more frequently, then the images will not be delivered to the Virtual Apps server as and when required. This will seriously impact the functioning of the Virtual Apps server. To ensure uninterrupted streaming, administrators should continuously monitor the networks that stream images to the target Virtual Apps server. This can be easily done using the Citrix PVS Network test.
This test auto-discovers the PVS networks that stream shared disk images to the target Virtual Apps server, and reports the number of times each network tried to reconnect to the target Virtual Apps server.
Target of the test : Citrix Virtual Apps Server
Agent deploying the test : An internal agent
Outputs of the test : One set of results for each PVS network that streams images to the target Virtual Apps server
