The Memory Structures Layer

The tests mapped to the Memory Structures layer (see Figure 1), report critical statistics that reveal:

• How efficiently the locking and sorting activities occur on the monitored DB2 database
• How well the buffer pools are managed
• The level of I/O activity on the DB2 database
