Monitoring Microsoft Azure API Management

eG Enterprise provides a specialized Microsoft Azure API Management model for monitoring the APIs managed by the Microsoft Azure API Management services.

The layer in Figure 1 is mapped to the tests that report metrics on the performance of the APIs managed by the Microsoft Azure API Management services. Using the metrics reported by this test, administrators can find accurate answers for the following performance queries:

• Is Microsoft Azure API Management service available?

• Were many API requests failed in target Microsoft Azure API Management services?

• Are the APIs managed by the API Management services consume bandwidth resources abnormally?

• Is the capacity of the API requests handled by the target services low?

• Is the cache failed to service majority of requests handled by the APIs?

• Were many API requests slowly processed in target Microsoft Azure API Management services?

• Were many Gateway errors encountered by the APIs in the target Microsoft Azure API Management services?

• Is there any high latency observed at the Backend of APIs in the target Microsoft Azure API Management services?

• Were many HTTP related errors encountered by the APIs in the target Microsoft Azure API Management services?

• Were many requests not served by the APIs in the target Microsoft Azure API Management services?
