Monitoring Microsoft Azure Traffic Managers

eG Enterprise provides a specialized Microsoft Azure Traffic Managers model for monitoring the traffic managing activities in Microsoft Azure.

The layer in Figure 1 is mapped to a single test that report metrics on data traffic and the health status of the endpoints used for traffic management. Using the metrics reported by this test, administrators can find accurate answers for the following performance queries:

• Is the number of endpoints is sufficient for Azure traffic management?

• Are the endpoints healthy for Azure traffic management?

• Is there adequate number of queries that Azure Traffic Manager profile processes over a specified period?

• Is the profile status of the Azure Traffic Manager is enabled?
