Monitoring NFS on Solaris Servers
To monitor NFS on a Solaris server, eG Enterprise provides the NFS Solaris server monitoring model (see Figure 1). This model monitors the Connection and Connectionless RPC calls that were received by the NFS server from the NFS clients, reveals call failures, and provides accurate pointers to the root-cause of the failure, so that the administrators can initiate the required remedial action.
