BODS Repository Status Test
In SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), the repository status refers to the current state and health of the BODS repository. The repository plays a crucial role in storing metadata, job definitions, data transformation logic, and other information related to your data integration and ETL processes. Monitoring the repository status is important for maintaining the integrity of your data integration environment.
This test monitors repository status and reports if the repository is active.
Target of the test : A SAP BODS Node
Agent deploying the test : An internal/remote agent
Outputs of the test : One set of result for the BODS node being monitored.

Host name of the server for which the test is to be configured. |
Port |
Enter the port to which the specified host listens. This should be the port at which the web application server hosting SAP BODS listens. |
CMS System |
Specify the URL of Central Management System. |
Username & Password |
Specify the credential of user created for BODs monitoring. The user should have been granted Monitoring role. |
Confirm Password |
Confirm the password by retyping it here. |
Web Service Port |
Specify the port at which BODS webservice is running. |
Long Running Cut off |
Specify the cutoff duration in seconds beyond which a job is considered a long running job. |
Scan Period (HRS) |
Specify the duration in hours within which eG agent should look for jobs that have started. By default this is set at 24 hours. |
Detailed Diagnosis |
To make diagnosis more efficient and accurate, the eG Enterprise embeds an optional detailed diagnostic capability. With this capability, the eG agents can be configured to run detailed, more elaborate tests as and when specific problems are detected. To enable the detailed diagnosis capability of this test for a particular server, choose the On option. To disable the capability, click on the Off option. The option to selectively enable/disable the detailed diagnosis capability will be available only if the following conditions are fulfilled:

This measure signifies whether the repository is being used by the user or not. This helps track repository usage. Detailed diagnosis, if configured, shows repository details such as name, type, DB type, host, DB user and permissions. The numeric values that correspond to these measure values are as follows:
