Adding SAP TREX Server

The steps for manually adding an SAP TREX server component are detailed below:

1. Login to the eG admin interface as user with administrative privileges.

2. Follow the Infrastructure -> Components -> Add/Modify Component menu sequence in the Admin tile menu.

3. From the page that appears, select SAP TREXas the Component type and click the Add New Component button.

4. Figure 1 will then appear.

5. Specify the Host IP/Name and the Nick name for the SAP TREX component.

6. The Port number will be set as 30001 by default. If the server is listening on a different port in your environment, then override this default setting.

7. If you are monitoring the target SAP TREX component in an agent-based manner, just select an external agent from the External agents list box.

8. Finally, click the Add button to add the component to the eG Enterprise system.
