How Does eG Enterprise Monitor SBC AudioCodes?

eG Enterprise uses an eG external agent to monitor the SBC AudioCodes. The external agent can be deployed on any remote host in the environment. This agent executes various tests that connect to the SNMP MIB of the appliance to be monitored, and collects critical statistics of interest. Before attempting to monitor the appliance, ensure that the appliance is SNMP-enabled. To enable the eG agent to access the SNMP MIB, specify the following while configuring the tests:

• Port number on which the target appliance exposes its MIB

• SNMP credentials to be used for accessing the MIB

eG Enterprise can automatically discover the SBC AudioCodes.
