Solace Operating System Layer

Using the tests associated with this layer, administrators can identify the following:

• the physical and swap memory utilization as well as the memory utilized by subscriptions;

• the space utilization of the disks mounted on mount points;

• the status and data/packets transmission/reception through each interface and;

• the uptime of the target event broker.

This information helps administrators in identifying the interfaces that are handling maximum traffic, the disks that are being excessively utilized, the type of memory that is being over-utilized etc.
