General Pre-requisites

• At least a single remote agent should be configured in the environment.
• Install the eG agent on any remote Windows/Linux host in the environment.
• Enable the remote agent to communicate with the eG manager port (default: 7077).
• The eG remote agent should be configured with at least 4 GB RAM. If more than four ESX servers are being monitored in an agentless manner, then the RAM capacity of the remote agent should be increased proportionately.
